Alan Layec received the Ph.D. degree in high-frequency electronics and optoelectronics in 2006 from the University of Limoges, France. He is currently a research engineer with the French National Institue for Research in Computer Science and Control, research centre INRIA, Paris-Rocquencourt, France. His research interests are the modeling and the simulation of microwave synthesizers and the development of CAD software for the system-level simulation of radar and communication systems. Since 2006, Alan Layec contributes to the development of Scicos and also to the development and the maintain of the Scilab/Scicos toolbox "Modnum".
