Scicos > Scicos-HIL : Scicos Hardware In The Loop

After the usual analysis, simulation and tuning phases, Scicos can also be used to run your controller connected with the real plant. Scicos-HIL is a ready-to-use library of blocks for analog/digital input/output Comedi compliant cards (+100 different models supported, including USB devices such as USB-DUX). We provide also a device driver (HDI standard) for Measurement Computing USB data acquisition card (USB-1208FS) under Linux and Windows.

The project's source files for Comedi (Linux) and Measurement Computing (Linux and Windows) devices are here.

The documentations (introduction, user's and programmer's  guides) are here.

This article describes an application (a shorter version in French here). See a short video. Please ask simone.mannori@inria.fr  if  you are interested in more  details (LEGO model building instructions, full electrical diagrams, Scilab/Scicos example files, etc.).
